Foods to boost collagen in the skin:

1. Vitamin C: Your body NEEDS Vitamin C to make collagen

2. Egg whites: contain glycine and proline, the main amino acids that make up our collagen (yolks have other skin benefits too! For example, our skin can use that cholesterol to make vitamin D)

3. Nuts: contain zinc which supports fibroblasts, the cells that make collagen!

Dr.Whitney Bowe: Some goofball online is saying that nuts are NOT good for your heart.He says that eating nuts destroys the elasticity in your arteries.Some other goofball online says that eating nuts are too high in fat (even though they contain monosaturated fats) for your heart.Who do I listen to? Bad advice. You won't get your daily zinc intake from nuts. They don't contain enough and contain antinutrients as well which means that you're only gonna absorb a fraction of the amount that's in them.
