Go, Chris! Your new book has really blessed me. I have had hypoglycemic symptoms as long as I can remember. I've always eaten healthy and exercised. I couldn't put a thumb on why I was still feeling this way, so I went all plant based in December. I haven't had one episode AT ALL which is crazy! I feel so great! I believe prayer and taking these steps to eat what God specifically wanted me to eat has and is healing my body. Thank you, Jesus, and thank you, Chris, for your obedience to educating on how to live a healthy lifestyle! Blessings!

mTOR promotes anabolic metabolism and inhibits autophagy which if you are intermittent fasting to help fight cancer cell mutation then limiting protein is crucial. Also, protein is known to contribute to inflammation.

Thank you for the research you do and inform us who need advice. The brain tumor that was scratched off the bone during 11 hour surgery, has aggressive cells, it will grow again, I don’t want radiation.

I have watched other videos of yours and found them inspirational. Lysine seems to the one amino acid to monitor as a strict vegan, and I still check in with chronometer to be sure. Unlike other vegans (a divided community, not all with your integrity), I don't expect my cat to eschew animal protein; tyrosine is a biggie and she and my dog are indispensable to my mental health. 50 g protein sounds perfectly reasonable; if someone is involved with a physically demanding job, not that interested in the gym look, but understand people want to feel better about themselves, a bit more protein, but the stats are so off the charts in North America, so thx again for your timely reminder and Happy New Year; we made it!!!

Chris, I remember that in the late 1990s in my mid-twenties, my grandmother wanted to give me passatelli soup which consisted of meat broth with the soup being made out of Parmesan cheese, eggs, and breadcrumbs and a hamburger together, but my mother said that I did not need too much protein and those two dishes together. My grandmother thought that I still needed all this protein because I was working hard in the fields whole day six days a week, walked and danced regularly and thought that I was still a young girl. Who do you think was right, Chris, my mother or grandmother?

Chris, You or someone should look into the recent death of Blake Nordstrom (the ceo of Nordstrom dept stores). He was a fit and healthy 58 year old and he was diagnosed with lymphoma at the beginning of December 2018 and he went in for chemotherapy and three weeks later he was dead. As soon as I heard the story I knew what had likely killed him. Someone should look into this, because it was really a tragic example of what the medical profession is doing to people.

Great! Except background music repetitive and thereby distracting. Thanks! Was it really needed?

I use plant based protein powder not meat or dairy based. Shaklee is a great back up supplimentation when I cant afford to buy fruits or veggies (we can spend through hundreds alone on fruit only in a few days for 5ppl but cannot afford that!!) or whole foods. :-(
I would rather use a suppliment than nothing though. I wish eating healthy was affordable. People who say it is its not true for me.

less than a six minute mile is good... have you thought of doing a marathon Chris? I think you could qualify for the Boston Marathon! My son and I are working toward doing the Pheonix marathon in April of 2020 and I plan to refuel with bananas and watermelon, I am thinking... I think I can carry a couple of bananans and some frozen watermelon chunks in a fanny pack or something... or have a friend at a water stop with some watermelon... what would you recommend for whole food refueling for something like that?
