I'm HSP and as a man, its even harder. I cry/get angry etc easily. After work, my emotion and mind would be drained. The slightest annoyance in my boss' voice would be enough to ruin my day. Luckily my wife understood HSPs (she is a psychologist). Thank you so much for the video 😊

Its exhausting, makes me feel uncomfortable in daily life even though my friends and family understand. Seems to get worse as I get older. Thank you for your video.

Thanks SO much for this as I was always embarrassed being a GUY wired as a "hsp." And I for one need LOTS of alone time to "recharge" my battery" lol. My wife is wired the opposite. When I get over stimulated, I find a quick hug or sitting on her lap so calming. 😎 This video helped so much, thanks!

ah thank you <3 I really needed this. I live a pretty secluded life on an island but I just got back from a trip to a city in France and found myself completed depleted of energy due to all the overstimulation. The sights, sounds, smells, shops, crowds of people....it was so overwhelming. Thank you for this video 💕

I have never practiced getting use to an over amount of stimulation. Didn't think that was possible. I will try it. Ty.

All your suggestions are fine and I've known this about myself for years.
However, there's a huge problem that nobody seems to want to address. Simply put, poor people aren't able to do a lot of those things. As for unhoused people, under constant surveillance by those who purport to be "helping" with absolutely no awareness of the damage they cause with their demands and insensitivity! This is not being addressed at all.
The first book I found many years ago, "Sensitivity, The Agony And The Ecstasy" was written by a psychologist who said he recognized the majority of his patients were very sensitive and decried "the dirth of literature" on the subject. I would not be at all surprised if the majority of unhoused people are highly sensitive, yet, as I said, it isn't addressed
For me, your words are more important for those claiming to help, rather than for me personally.
Please take this seriously, acknowledge the harm being done to poor people, and gather others to speak out about this
Thank you!

Hi. Good info. Could you switch on subtitles (in Dutch preferably) too, to help more people in other languages too?
