A significant contributor that isn't touched on is that the biomechanics of the preacher curl is dangerous with "full ROM." You really shouldn't fully extend the arm at an angle while loaded like that.

Do all of these tips AND stop a few degrees before full extension. Not like the video he took to make fun of the ROM, but I do about 15 degrees from full extension. Or just normal curls.

You left out an extremely important piece of information, which is that people rarely just tear their biceps without forewarning. Most people push through a bunch of elbow pain prior to tearing a bicep.

Also don't go all the way down. Thats where the tears happen. If you want full stetch, there are better movements for biceps.

I just do concentration curls, preacher curl bicep tears have honestly scarred me for life.

I just like facing away cable curls, i can control where the most tensionis, just having the most tension before full extension is great for me 👌. Seems like the best compromise for me. Preacher curls may be better, though I just feel my biceps tendons about to explode every time i do these, my body tells me "just don't do pcs, not even partials"

I go always for 15-20 rep range for biceps

in gym i do slow up n down with control but the gym caretake come said u need up fast down, many reps and twisted squeeze at the end
