Gary Vaynerchuk is a serial entrepreneur and serves as the Chairman of VaynerX, the CEO of VaynerMedia, and the Creator & CEO of VeeFriends. Gary is considered one of the leading global minds on what's next in culture, business, and the internet.

Known as "GaryVee," he is described as one of the most forward thinkers in business. He acutely recognizes trends and patterns early to help others understand how shifts in consumer attention impact the realities of the business world today. Gary's approach sits at the intersection of business and pop culture. He keenly understands how to bring brand relevance to the forefront. He is a prolific angel investor with early investments in companies like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Venmo, Snapchat, Coinbase, and Uber.

This year, Gary unveiled his seventh book, "Day Trading Attention" where he provides fresh insights into navigating the modern social media landscape. Gary's expertise guides readers on harnessing underpriced attention channels in the digital age. He emphasizes mastering storytelling in these arenas and highlights the "TikTokification of Social Media," where content relevance surpasses follower counts. Businesses can leverage this shift to enhance their brand and boost sales. "Day Trading Attention" equips readers with essential skills to succeed in today's dynamic digital world. Gary also announced his first children's picture book, based on his VeeFriends characters, titled "Meet Me in the Middle” (set to be published on July 16, 2024). The picture book, which will prominently feature two VeeFriends characters, Eager Eagle and Patient Pig, delves into the emotional elements essential for nurturing children's empathy – a crucial skill for their future success.

Gary is an entrepreneur at heart – he builds businesses. Today, he helps Fortune 1000 brands leverage consumer attention through his full-service advertising agency, VaynerMedia, which has offices in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Mexico City, London, Amsterdam, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur. VaynerMedia is part of the VaynerX holding company, which also includes Eva Nosidam Productions, Gallery Media Group, The Sasha Group, VaynerSpeakers, VaynerCommerce, and Tingley Lane Trading. Gary is the Co-Founder of VaynerSports, VCR Group, VaynerWatt, ArtOfficial, Resy, and Empathy Wines. He guided Resy and Empathy to successful exits -- which he later sold to American Express and Constellation Brands, respectively. He also owns a Major League Pickleball team called the 5s, is part owner of a Big3 basketball team, and is an investor in the revival of the SlamBall League.

Gary is also the founder and creator of VeeCon – a contemporary super conference that converges business and pop culture with innovation and technology. In addition to running multiple businesses, Gary documents his daily life as a CEO through his social media channels, which have more than 44 million followers and garner over 300 million monthly impressions/views across all platforms. His podcast, "The GaryVee Audio Experience," ranks among the top podcasts globally.

Gary serves on the board of MikMak, Bojangles Restaurants, Global Citizen Forum, and Pencils of Promise. He is also a longtime Well Member of charity: water.

Gary's life ambition is to buy the New York Jets.

True!! My father has told me thousands of times growing up and has no problem even today telling me that he has not a care in the world if I hate him. He’s always told me that he isn’t here to be my best friend, he’s here to be my dad and tell me when I’m wrong or need to do better and if I hate him for it so be it.he doesn’t care if I hate him or don’t love him, it’s not a child’s job to love their parent, it’s a parents job to love their child. And most of the time after your kids hate you for saying what they don’t want to hear they’ll come back around and will know in the end their parent was right.

Thank YOU for saying it!! Parents have become weak. It is not our job to befriend our children, it’s our job to protect them and teach them. Stop letting the television and the phone raise your kids, parents you actually need to be involved. Entitled kids come from weak, pushover parents.

"No Backbone in Parenting" So true

I grew up in the 80s, a middle child with an older sister and younger brother and very young parents. My parents never once allowed for us to be entitled or even remotely think we were the boss of them, we were punished when well deserved and no we weren’t sent to a bedroom with video games and a big screen tv. My parents were great but also very strict and we are far better for it in life and work. I now own a business and our employees think they are entitled to everything and when you give them pushback and feedback as an adult they react by calling in or quitting. Not only have the parents that raised entitled children make their lives harder by fearing their children’s backlash, they made it very hard for their children to function as grown adults. Please hold your children accountable for everything, because they’re not doing well in society and in life.
I am 46 now, i got my first cell phone at age 21 and it was technically a work phone I needed for my first full time job. Kids have phones in kindergarten now, imagine how hard that also is on teachers.

My kids are not my friends and I’m not their friend. I’m their parent and their guide to this world to be a decent human being

Gary although you're right, some of these kids are like crack addicts when it comes to electronics. I've taken shit away feom my kids but through their friends still have access to things I don't want them exposed to. Then their friends tell them to no listen, rebel because "they have rights" and parents are wrong. It's not that easy anymore.

Four "fucks" in the first fifteen seconds. That's how you know you're listening to a Gary V. diatribe.

This is not the only reason that parents have become a disappointment to society recently

As an older gen z I’ve seen that gen x and millennials have this idea that they are still in their 20s and should be able to be buddies with their kids instead of being strict with them it’s lazy mentality with a side of I’m still young and I can go party when I want.

Taking their phone away wouldn't build something else on their minds seeing colleagues at school with phone's?

Parents are scared and a lot of their children are going to fail in life if they don't face any type of adversity. .

Gary used to be polished, charming wine guy. He turned into a cussing guy who looks like he needs a shower and a shave.

Using the word kids and then proceeding to say they are getting “f’ed” is weird as shit
