I stretch 6 days a week. Perfect front split still took almost 2 years. I'm 48, so age is not making it easier.. thanks for another grest video.

i train it every morning everyday..
the key is
1. i make it fit to my daily schedule ( everyday i wake my daughter and watch cartoon with her before school about 30 minutes, thats exactly my time strech while have a parent talk.)
2. not making it a result demanding process, , i just enjoy it, i cant believe it starts from unable to touch my toe until now i almost can pike full strech, , my weight loss helps alot though i guess.

Great man! Very informative as usual. Flexibility training is such an important aspect of a healthy and functional body and it's very overseen. Good job mate

Very practical advice as always. Very true about how people perceive results of stretching as against those from working out. I always thought it was the same with deep breathing exercises as against working out in a gym or some very vigorous physical exercise. In the latter people can see the pump in the muscles, sweat etc. People struggle to see the value in the former.

TrainingPal. Maybe you were doing a highlight reel of all of your stretches with the few camera angles as they seemed quick. Stretching thirty seconds to a minute per stretch seems to me like I am getting more done. Thanks for the tips. I will try twice per week after a bit of cardio or low intensity moving.

What is your opinion on martial arts? Have you ever tried it? Which martial arts do you like, if any?

I decided last month that i should start stretching because i want to do full V sit.
1 month ago i could barely touch my toes, but now i can put my palm on the floor with the same feeling i had 1 month ago when i could barely touch my toes, and touch my toes is not even a problem right now.

I recommend stretching because it makes me feel more relaxed, my muscles feel lighter and it definitely is good as it improves your position, your movement, effects of the movement and basically increases how much you can actually move.
Edit: I make a goal, and i am willing to do what is necessary to hit that goal, no matter the time it costs, because i know after a while, i will make it, and it will make me feel better.

I have a bad back and stretching every morning for 60 minutes is a given, not an option. Then, before dinner, I usually do another 20 minutes.

Thanks for the video! I find its easier for me to stick to a stretching routine first thing in the morning. I grab a glass of water with some freshly squeezed lemon on an empty stomach and work through my stretching routine.

It has been very good to me because my mobility has improved and also I have fixed certain issues with joint pain.

Hi, have u heard about trifecta? It's an active type of stretching weach is better for your joints, there are 3 moves: bridge, l sit and twist, it's all in convict conditionig2. Awesome book

Surprised you didn't mention this, but you can stretch on the rings pretty well. Set them to the floor, and it's a great way to work on your side split. You can control the straps with your hands, and limit yourself from getting hurt.
