Woke up at 3am to find my popsocket in this mess. Couldn't sleep knowing about it so I found this video. The process works even if you don't have the right tools. I ended up using a small pair of shears and a paperclip. It's back on. Goodnight.

Just came here to say it took me almost 25 minutes and I was VERY VERY VERY close to rage quitting. Then what I did was gave it a last try to push the little piece inside the silicone while opening the hole with the pliers and more than half of it FINALLY got inside the silicone. I kept pushing the circular piece around and it finally got inside of the silicone. Thank you sir for this video

Thank you! I just got an enameled (read:expensive) popsocket just yesterday and caught it on the edge of a slide🙈 thanks to your video, I was able to fix it within a couple minutes using needlenosed pliers and a super thin allen wrench!

This was smooth. I was fighting it with a pick while the small dime sized disc was still attached to the base. Taking that off was the key and stretching the “rubber” with needle nosed pliers did the trick. Thanks.

My son pulled his off and I went straight to google to see if it was fixable and found your video. I however didn't have pliers but with some tools was able to stretch it out while my daughter put it in unfortunately it went completely inside but I was determined and finally got it back on. his was a lifesaver you make it look so easy! I had a expensive rhinestone popsocket and the piece to remove out of the popsocket was broke so I bought another popsocket and did surgery on it like you did and boy was this useful thank you so much for uploading this video! much appreciated God bless you
