I slowly opened the door, but no one was there, just this mysterious envelope on the ground. "What could this be?" I thought, heading back to my room. Inside the envelope was a piece of paper, all official-looking and typed out. It read, "Dear Chloe, there's a big secret your parents are hiding. Don't ask them; they'll just lie. YOU have to uncover it." I froze. "What on Earth?" I whispered to myself.

I have a story suggestion: Me and My Siblings Ran Away from our Terrible Parents, but They Came Back with an Apology.


The protagonist in that story is teenage girl named Athena who is a bodybuilder. She has to take care of her four younger siblings (Rocky, the second oldest of the family at ten. He is a pacifist and a huge Mega Man fanatic. Next is Micheal, the middle child, who highly dreams of becoming a basketball player. Then there’s Pixie, a little girl obsessed with fairies. Finally, there is Peace, the baby brother.) She also has a girlfriend named Iris, who is the prettiest girl in her school. Athena has to constantly deal with both everyone bullying her for being a bodybuilder and for dating Iris and her parents. Because of money problems, the parents are constantly fighting and take it out on their children, even beating them on occasion. They have jobs, but with really low salaries. It goes on for a really long time, until one day, Iris comes over to see Athena. However, after the parents come back from work early, they find out that Athena is a lesbian and fight with her. Athena has enough and takes her younger siblings and they all run away from home, moving in with her girlfriend. They all live with her for seven months until the parents eventually come over to apologize for taking their anger from their constant fighting out on their own children and promise to better care for them. Rocky, Micheal, Pixie, and Peace all forgive them, but Athena still can’t do the same thing and she and her siblings still stay at Iris’s house. Despite this, she does wonder if she should forgive her parents or stay mad at them.

(I know it sounds like a VERY bad story idea, but this is my first time suggesting a story idea.)
