Ingredients:

►2 & 1/2 cups of overcooked or well-cooked chickpeas
►1 cup of well-stirred tahini
►1/3 cup of fresh lemon juice
▶︎1 tsp of cumin
►1 big or 2 medium garlic cloves
►6-8 ice cubes (adjust according to desired texture, more for lighter and creamier hummus)
►Salt to taste

For Garnish
-----------------------
_ some cooked chickpeas
- smoked paprika or, chili powder, cumin, sumac or any other spices you like that flavor to hummus and beautiful contrast in color
- drizzle of extra virgin olive oil

Nice tip - if you dont eat hummus at once its better to make garlic and lemon sauce and add it onto hummus when consume. Garlic makes hummus go bitter fast.

Just made this. OMG! Soooo good and creamy. Just letting it sit in the fridge for a bit, then dipping some naan bread in for my lunch. It’s hard to wait. BTW. I found if I kept adding water to the cooked Chickpeas I could basically pour off the shells. I had to do it a number of times but it worked really well. Thanks for the great recipe. I’ll never go back.

If you soaked the chick peas over night, cook in instant pot 25 minutes and natural pressure release. Yum!

Have been making humus for many many years. I use I 8 oz. Can of cheek peas Tehini I to taste lemon juice and olive oil press the button on the food processor to a creamy humus.
