This homemade hummus tastes better than anything you'd buy at the store! You can make it in just 5 minutes using canned chickpeas, but I'll also show you 3 tips for making even better hummus. You can make it silky-smooth, like it came from a restaurant!

Ingredients:
1 (15 oz.) can chickpeas (about 1 1/2 cups)
1/3 cup tahini (Whole Foods 365 or Soom brand)
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon fine salt (I use Real Salt brand)
3 to 5 tablespoons water, as needed for texture

I don't have a food processor with me, but I do have a mortar and pestle. It makes good hummus for sure. I make my own tahini as I need it too. This sounds like the same ingredients that I use. I will have to make some.
