I know this sounds so bad. But my social anxiety is so bad that I am happy that I am in quarantine so I don't have to go outside and socialize.

is anyone an extrovert but you have social anxiety? it’s literally the worst thing, like you want to talk to people but you have anxiety when you do :/

very relatable. My mom always used the word "shy", so I had no idea the actual word for it was "anxiety."

It is important that more people who work on social media talk about issues such as anxiety, and you do it so naturally and easily. Thank you for doing this. There are a lot of people out there who need this kind of support and encouragement :-). xx

Yeah I used to listen to every single word that people said and repeat them over and over in my head so if anyone ever said anything mildly critical I would remember it for years. And that's not on them that's my issue

I resonate so much with this, especially recently at university, living in an apartment with a big group of people it's so easy to feel left out or unwanted, but we have to stop beating ourselves up with those types of thoughts and assume something more positive like: "maybe they're just having a bad day today or need some space". Thanks so much for this video xx

*I have social anxiety so thank you for sharing this video! My social anxiety is due to years of bullying by girls. Honestly, watching YouTube videos of women influencers gives me the social company I need without the anxiety*

It's exactly how panic attacks work: you get scared of where you had one - it's not PTSD, it's theyr typical mechanism :(

I have really bad social anxiety, and it’s improved slightly since I’ve started college, but I still often feel paralyzing fear in social situations! Thank you so much for uploading this, you always have top tier videos!! I hope you’re having a great day and have a great weekend Renee 💜💜

shrug it off. Stop caring what others think. Oh my gosh it's so true. It's crazy when I see friends who have the same issue as me being super insecure about what people think I just want to assure them that they are okay. But then I go and do the same thing!

I love this tip because it's so true we want to just hide. But being honest is good. However I feel like voicing it is like acknowledging it and one of my best strategies is not thinking about my anxiety. So what do you do then when I feel like voicing it makes me focus on it where I feel like it will go away if I don't focus on it. And then you have people when you voice it they want to ask you "why" you're having anxiety and then that makes me focus on it more and then feeling pressured because I know they want to help and then I feel like I'm inconveniencing them and causing a burden for them. Then the pressure to get over it just makes it worse

I have so much respect for you for having the courage to talk about this publicly, and it makes me want to do that as well. Stay golden <3

1. Get uncomfortable (stay out of you comfort zone)
2. Share you story and be open about it
3. 3 magical questions
( 1. how bad would that really be?
2. what are the odds of this actually happening?
3. how can I cope if it does? )
4. Allow your self to be yourself
5. Be around people
6. Stop obsessing about it!
