Chronic exposure to heavy metals at low dose cause this, it’s WELL known .. blocked methylation pathways result and various other metabolic pathways become unavailable— arsenic is an extremely interesting substance to study in terms of it’s very strange effect on the gut and metabolic pathways within the body— The basic action is well known but the complications that stem from long-term low-level chronic exposure and knock-on consequences within the body are a cutting edge of the field of research.

There is absolutely next to no monitoring of the quantities of heavy metals within food there are no standards for it there is only a maximum accepted limit which is far too high in most cases because low-level chronic affects are not studied or understood properly at the present moment.

In some people certain genes associated with both the endocrine and metabolic systems within the body are turned off this makes those individuals particularly susceptible to heavy metals at extremely low levels
You should direct your research in this direction if you want to make any real progress, that is to address primary causes rather than secondary affects..

Hell, You may even want to include 1tbs beef gelatin per "shake"/latte (I make mine a latte). I also combine glycine and NAC every other week.

The most recent theory is that the cause is - oxalates, lectins, phytates and sugar. Can anyone pls make a serious research on that???

But ok, after reading about your issue with your gut, first jump on that glycine & collagen combo I mentioned earlier.

(TEST Youtube is deleting my comments) I also combine glycine and NAC every other week. All to improve my health gut, but this also has benefits for longevity.
