This has been my problem after pilates reformer machine 11 years ago.
Pt just informed me i had quote pilates legs.

1: since finding out how active stretching can alleviate psoas tension, I won't stop doing them.
2: i feel like this type of release hapoens to me just lying in bed sometimes.

Well those are all great things for people who can get down on the floor who aren't over 80 years old all alone with lots of disabilities
All this looks fabulous but I would never be able to get up off the floor if I got down there.
What would be like when they say I've fallen and I can't get up!!
So what do you suggest for someone who's old disabled and alone?
I think I asked you about the position for fixing forward head by putting your legs on a chair at a 90° angle while you're lying on the floor with a towel under your neck and something for your arms to rest on.
I would love to do this but I don't think there's any way in hell I could ever do that.
I would end up screaming for help because I couldn't get up off the floor.
Once I'm down I'm down until somebody strong comes to my rescue because I'm also overweight.
Please tell me what things an elderly person with disabilities who lives alone could do to help with her military forward head problem due to a compression fracture of her l4 some years ago and a nerve ablation on her neck that went South!
Before the nerve ablation she did not have 24/7 neck pain.
Now it is 24/7 neck pain, pain meds. Etc. Not a happy camper!
I do like your ideas but I don't work for people like me.
It'll be nice if you could show some of those things for someone who's old and disabled and alone that they could do that would help deal with their ribs their spine and their forward head issues.
I agree that the muscles are not the problem they're just trying to hold the bowling ball from falling off.
If the head wasn't forward probably due to something with the ribs and the lower spine they're probably wouldn't be such a strain on the neck muscles because they wouldn't be holding up twice the weight of the head.
I understand if the head moves forward like an inch it doubles the weight

I saw a video on turning your lower back to engage your glutes. That has been working wonders to engage my core as I blow out. Left side diaphram clicked in.
Also lying on my back and letting lower back touch the ground then bicycle my legs at different heights and angles.
I'm feeling almost no tingling in feet except in morning
