What’s up, team! I am back for another year. In 2023 we are going to crush it!!! I’ve got so many workouts planned and super excited to share them with you 😁

A new full body HIIT is coming (maybe on Thursday), I know you love the sweaty workouts. For today’s workout, I have an upper body with dumbbells. It’s important for us to stimulate our muscles, especially the upper body at least 1-2 times per week. I love this routine because it’s quick and covers the entire upper body in just 15 minutes. Feel free to repeat the workout one more time to get in a really good PUMP! 💪

If you built a good foundation (especially for men) in your 20s and 30s and still continued to workout, this is all you need is 15 minutes of moderate to heavy.

For instance, I powerlifted/bodybuilt/fitness (HIIT) trained in my 20s and 30s very intensly while I was military...benching well over 400lbs, squat 475...etc. In my mid 30s I dialed it down to basic sets of 9 exercises per body part (3 sets x 3 exercises) in the 185lb to 275lb range on bench squat, then did cardio, core, etc. I was in and out in 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes.

Ill be 46 this year and I knock out these short 15-20 minute strength exercises, go for a quick 20 minute jog and 5 minutes of abs. I keep the size, shape and endurance of my late 20s early 30s, sometimes even better with less injuries. I only use dumbbells up to 65 lbs, dip bar and pull up bar. All in the garage. A couple times a year Ill hit the gym and see what I can bench and I can still get 315 for a few good reps. Muscle memory is a great thing and consistency is key, 5-6 days a week.

Started doing in the morning before shower and work definitely wakes you up had to down the weight a bit it's deceptively difficult
