Have you ever booted up your computer and notice a Microsoft Edge icon, that you haven't placed there before, junking up your desktop? Whenever Edge does an update, it automatically places an icon on the desktop. In this video I will show you how to stop this from happening in the future! This video will work on all version of Edge and running on Windows 10 and 11.

regedit location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft
New Key Name: EdgeUpdate
DWORD (32-Bit) Value Name: CreateDesktopShortcutDefault

i just delete all those and uninstall almost all windows store apps and after that the windows store itself .
