How To Disable and Re-enable Microsoft Edge in Windows 10

As you know friends by default you can't uninstall Microsoft Edge from your windows 10 control panel so In this video I will show you guys how to disable or re-enable Microsoft Edge in windows 10 computer.

this is not how you permanently remove Edge on your computer :(..i hate Edge...i want to remove from my WIndow 10 :(. I DON'T THINK THERE IS AWAY YOU CAN REMOVE CUZ IT'S RELATED TO WINDOW UPDATES

I googled this problem with complicated solutions that I tried . It took hours and it did not work. I was thinking about resetting my whole computer with a new Windows CD and I found your video. My problem was that Edge would randomly appear when ever i would click something on my desktop and it would pop 389 taps and counting. Taking up all my ram ! . Thanks for posting. I hate windows making me use their apps by force. Hate the mandatory updates. You used to be able to choose which updates to load.

I have search web after a way to disable Microsoft Edge, and all i could fine was ways that was so complicated that I gave up halfway through. Then you show up and bam it's done in less than a 60 seconds. Thank you and you just earned a subscriber. :)

Thank you for this! My cat sat on my laptop (don't laugh. She's really fat) and I think she did something to my keys. All I know is that after she was done, a Bing search for how to get help on Edge just populates itself over and over. If I pressed a letter, it was like the CTRL or ALT key was pressed as well so whatever shortcut corresponded to the letter kept popping up. I disabled the keyboard and got a USB one but nothing would stop Edge, until now! This is an awesome fix!

Edge is so sneaky. My default browser is Firefox. My wife sent a link about a dinosaur to my gmail account. When I started my computer, Edge pops up with recommendations to sites about dinosaurs. I hate that companies feel entitled to eavesdrop on all my communications! Did what you suggested, but I expect MS will reenable Edge when the next windows update is forced on me.

It shows that when you need to rename it it says that its open
