It worked! Thank goodness! 😩 FYI If you have any previous tabs open it will not change. Once you close out of all the tabs and reopen Edge the change will go into effect. I also noticed that some website are preset to open a new tab…those still will. I’m not mad at this because these particular websites are ones that I may want that option for. For example….clicking on a story from the default Bing page, it will open up into a new tab. If I want to finish that story later but want to go back to read a different story then I have that option. If I don’t then I can just click out of it.

This issue I'm having is that it's opening new tabs even when i'm NOT using Bing to search. It's truly irritating.

Now how to make it stops opening period. I use chrome and I hate it when I click on a link and it decides to load in edge.

Doesn't work for me. Websites are allowed to spam tabs and windows by Edge.
