The registry edit no longer works and hasn't worked for quite a long time now. Eventually Edge will reinstall itself, even when i forcibly disable Windows updates until the year 2099 it still comes back. It's literally like malware.

when i finished and had no more need for the installer, i searched up "wise uninstaller" and clicked uninstall, for it to simply put "the program can't uninstall it's self." which is fair.

THANK YOU SO MUCH... this is so much better than the long string of powershell commands that half the time don't work, then you have to search for the one that will work to make it to the next step.

PS - you might want to add installing the edge redirect/hijack tool to point anything edge "attempting" to chrome

Thank you for the video! Question? I am on a WINDOWs 10 machine and performed the removal as you suggest. After completing this, I go into my APPS and seee an EDGE UPDATER is still present even though I did the DoNotUpdateToEdgeWithChromium add on? Suggestions What I did wrong?
