Another great tutorial ! When I first uninstalled edge, it was a time consuming nightmare. It was unbelievable how much edge was embedded in the system as described. After being 100% successful, the only side effect is you lose access to the many help links that are offered in your settings. Thanks again from the Yankee across the pond.

Thanks a lot for the help... my major problem with Edge is that Microsoft keeps FORCING it on me, if it wasn't like that and they actually made a product that I could CHOOSE as opposed to being FORCED on me... I might actually use it. About every 6 months, I have to go and remove this crap from my system, cause sooner or later it ends up getting reinstalled...

Thank you. I just had my main ssd crash and corrupted. Installing fresh again and just tried the way I always have. Nothing worked. I searched and found nothing. Just relaxing and watching a few videos and saw this vid from about 12 hrs ago. Nicely done Bri.

and afterwards, on the apps & features page, it was still shown there as you mention in your video.
but when I right clicked it, I had the option for 'change'. I got a pop up saying the application couldn't be found and it asked me if i wanted to remove it from the list. I said yes and now it's gone from there as well.

I waited three weeks before commenting. I tend to test things over time to see if it has holds. After three weeks, I am happy to report that Microsoft Edge has failed to intrude upon my privici, thanks to the good work from Mr. Kirkwood and yourself.
A massive thumbs up to both of you !

Unfortunately it didn't work for me. Ran it a couple of times and it doesn't remove/uninstall anything it just puts an empty Temp folder in there with everything just the same as before.

Edit-- My fault, I wasn't right clicking and running it as administrator. All cleared out now :)

Needless to say... Microsoft should provide a uninstaller, or at the least add it to the uninstall list, without it being grayed out.

To the peeps who are saying the can't find the file, I think the problem is windows defender, I also couldn't find the file at first, this is because windows has the habit of hiding files it does not like, like cracks and batch files, it also seems to prevent zip files being unpacked, I turned defender off and found the files.

I'm genuinely confused. So people commenting on how great the explanation was and the title of the video leading one to assume this would be something to watch in order TO SEE HOW TO REMOVE
6 minutes of talking and not 1 second of telling us how to use the script...
