I'm 44 years old and just had my first baby 8 weeks ago - i started walking today for 30 mins. It felt so good. I plan to build it up to 45 mins and then 1 hr...will later add ankle weights and arm weights too. Let's see how it goes. Post 6 months will start cycling and yoga too.

I started ab massage and deep breathing exercises to knit my abs back together at 2 weeks post and walking at 3 weeks post. At 4 weeks postpartum after a c section I got the go ahead to get back to everything except heavy lifting. Just found your videos now at 5 weeks post c section. Looking forward to getting moving.

I'm active duty military and I'll need to be able to complete the following in less than one year after delivery:
Between 15.21-15.50min 1.5 mile + 33 inch waist + 14 push ups + 31 sit ups (this is the absolute minimum set of standards to pass my biannual fitness test). This will be my first c-section and I'm scared of not having the proper resources to successfully recover.

I just had my beautiful boy 3 weeks ago. I’ve gone for a short walk once. I have to be ready for the military by 6 months though. I hope I can get there by then.

My dr never scheduled a 6-8 week post op he had me go back to take out my staples at about 2 weeks and told me I would be clear to workout at 6 weeks. I’ve been too scared to do anything because I tried and my scar area started to hurt. So glad I found your videos.

Thank you for sharing. I had my 4th child over a week ago. I have been getting stronger and stronger each day and really want to get back to exercise. I am definitely going out for a walk with my baby. Walking always helps me with my breathing techniques, then I will add to that with the support of your videos ☺️

Thanks so much for addressing this topic. I feel the 8weeks 'healing time' that some sources suggest is unrealistic. Although few honest medical professionals (surgeons included) suggest 2years for insides to fully heal where the incision was made. I feel that doctors aren't honest with us as some people still have pain up to years after, but like you said everyone's body if different. It's hard to know what to believe. That's why I appreciate these videos.

1 week Post surgery for fibroid removal. I'm so excited to get back to my pilates and to be able to be on my feet for more than 10 minutes at a time without pain.

Jumping, running, high intensity exercise feels like it’s going to be too much right now, but excited to work back up to it. 7 weeks pp.

I had my c section 10 weeks ago. My body feels like jello. I have a lot of back pain. I want to get back to normal so I can get my body ready for when I get back to work.
