Hacks to Fix Poor Digestion 😉 #shorts

Показать описание
Gut issues often = skin issues.
That means that if you have low stomach acid, your skin could be suffering as a result.
It’s because low acid messes up digestion (and absorption of nutrients) while leaving your body open to unfriendly organisms to end up in your gut triggering hidden issues.
In case you think you have to have gut problems to worry about this...
NOPE — sometimes issues in the gut ONLY show up on the skin (I honestly don’t know why, but I’ve seen it many times in my clinic).
Makes you think, right? 🤔
Considering yesterday’s post, this REALLY important factor — stomach acid — be a huge contributor to your skin problems given how common having H.pylori (which lowers stomach acid) is in different skin conditions.
Here’s a few tips to increase low stomach acid...
🔸 Slow down and mindfully eat helps stimulate stomach acid secretion.
🔸 Chew your food. Soft foods need to be chewed at least 5-10 times, and tougher foods may need to be chewed up to 30 times!
🔸 Reduce your stress. When you’re in fight or flight, digestion (+ absorption of nutrients) is deprioritized!
🔸 Up minerals like sodium, chloride + zinc to support stomach acid production.
🔸 Investigate if you have H.pylori — a common bacteria infection that neutralizes stomach acid
