That’s the first time i see someone acknowledging all 3 main type of peoples in game, AND that respect all 3, hat down!

I really appreciate this. There's probably a lot of kids growing up now who think gaming, especially mobile gaming, is a full-time job you have to pay for; when it's really only like that for a tiny subset of people who probably have a very different concept of "fun" from the rest of us.

I really enjoy the "Slow down and smell the rose" take that isn't super meta-oriented. Not everything has to be about meta. I like researching to be effective, but I know that I will continue pull my "This is a slice of life game for me" move, where I will mostly collect cooking ingredients and take photos. 🤣

exploration and experiment are parts of the adventure.

i like how the choice of player you can be is, not enough time, normal and this game is my livelyhood

"Live service games are a marathon, not a sprint"
I don't typically grind for meta but instead I end up pushing myself to explore 100% of map because the numbers scream at me. That line really made me rethink how I should approach this game. Some great advice in this video!

I'm not sure if timestamping in videos is easy or not but id love seeing that. I'm leaving genshin for WuWa Content creators and would love to support new channels, also due to the hoyo contract scene

I guess I'm efficient but I'll be selective in pulling. My main goal day one is just to open the daily quests at least. Also, before the end of the week, at least I have access to a weekly boss (if there is one) or ascension boss. The only main thing w/ gacha games is opening access to limited currency/matetials first. The rest, I can enjoy at my own pace.

Planning to be a light spender (monthly pass and BP) to support Kuro as a thanks for the awesome launch rewards. ❤

I entered GI blind. I just saw an ad when Yunjin was introduced. I liked it so I downloaded the game. I started dating and my then bf was a meta player and kept telling me to do this and that, would make me feel bad for not dealing high damage even though I am able to beat enemies with what I had, then kept pressuring me to do Abyss even though I wasn't ready for it. I ended up hating GI because I wasn't having fun anymore.

Chill Tip 1: Don't rush.
I'm actually deliberately holding back at Union Level 20 so I can get my characters and weapons to level 40 before I ascend. In Genshin, I always ascended at the earliest possible time, and was under-levelled and it wasn't fun until I got my characters levelled. It's way easier to explore and try new characters at lower levels and your union level XP banks, so you can just use it when you feel like ascending - you don't lose it by not ascending.

Chill Tip 2: Pull who you like.
I'm pulling for Jiyan because he's so freaking cool. I know he'll be power-crept, and I know support units go further in gachas... I'm a Genshin vet, I agree and I know it first hand (also Diluc and Ayato are awesome, so sue me). But one week into the game, at Union Level 20, I'm just going to play who I like; there's plenty of time until I reach the end-game. And I haven't decided how far I will take the end-game yet either. Just because it's there doesn't mean you have to do it.

the way you called me out with jiyan, lingyang and verina😶‍🌫️ maybe throw calcharo in there too 😂 Thank you for making this video and reminding us to take it easy too. the way other CCs talk about clearing every enemy in your world every day gave me so much anxiety 🤧

I plan to switch from genshin to wuwa. I can't 36 star abyss bcs I'm lacking some meta aspects like 4 star characters cons that are impactful and some key character like kuki shinobu. Another issue is that abyss itself is getting harder and I can't speak I'm a good gamer definitely have skill issue lol.

that being said i'm lean toward more of a meta and combat player rather than story/lore but when the game live i will play it blind and slowly adapting, wish me luck this time!

Appreciate the content mate. Seeing this I'm going into the game blind, and saving up on the currency atm, but I did see some of the characters and planning on at least targeting Jianxin as I like her design, assuming I don't get her on the novice banner.

But I'm taking my time on this unlike Genshin where I grinded and followed content. Needless to say that runined the game for me (nothing to do) to the point I felt burnout

Another important thing to keep in mind about gacha games is that you will, given enough time, accumulate every character in the game (excluding ultra-rare promo type characters who are only in the pool for a limited time or something) and for a game with a relatively small roster like this, it won't even take that long. Where the "gatcha" in gacha game comes in is when you try to force a pull for a specific character at a specific time. That's how people make themselves poor. And likewise with games like Honkai and Genshin, getting the super cool five-star is really only part of the process. You also have to get all the optimal equipment and accessories to get the most out of that character, which is a whole other loop of grinding and gacha. In a way, getting the five star is just a hook to get you to play more and pull more. This game will likely be no different.

I literally have no idea what these games are about tbh but I’m gonna try my best to get all the content and understand everything before the games release. And def I’m gonna play for fun, which means grinding a bit. So yea casual.
