Hello ladies,

If there is one thing we can all agree on is that cramps and PMS symptoms are no fun. Yoga can be of great help when it comes to relieving some of the uncomfortable symptoms such as cramps, bloating, lower back pain and so forth, as it helps to relax the muscles. I have designed this quick 10 minute gentle yoga class for ALL levels to help you relieve those pains, aches and discomfort. If at any time, you feel the need to rest, please go ahead and do so and join back in whenever you are ready!

I'm glad it worked for others, sadly it just made me and my friends hurt more. We didn't really like how the stretches were so fast and focused on the hamstrings and hips. Kinda hoped for a relaxing slow yoga sequence.

I appreciate how thoughtful this class was but all the back bend poses intensified my lower back cramps from my period. I was really disappointed those poses were included for a period specific class when lower back pain is so common with pms.

I like her energy but heads up: this isn’t very beginner friendly, I couldn’t do half of this :/ another heads up: don’t use headphones cus she was breathing so loud in my ears the whole time & it killed the vibe so much 😭😂

I loved this sequence, but as pointed out by many others, these stretches aren't suitable for a beginner on their periods. Everyone here is looking for pain relief, not a challenge. Beginners tend to get more pain when they do poses like camel, butterfly, or happy baby. Interestingly, these are pain relief poses once you cross that level. It'll be more useful to label this video as intermediate. Coupled with a few straddle stretches, this one can work wonders for someone with a few years of practice in yoga.
