How to use Microsoft Outlook Bookings with Me

An Outlook tutorial video on using Outlook Bookings with Me, one of the new features in Outlook that has recently rolled out. Microsoft Bookings with me allows you to create a public Bookings page to let anyone book your calendar for specific appointments. This might include consulting hours, office hours, tutoring, 1:1 meetings, and many more scenarios. Bookings with me is part of our Commercial or Education offers for both E3/A3 and E5/A5. Thanks Mike. I use Bookings nearly EVERY day with my clients. The BIG issue, which appears still unaddressed, is our inability to require entering a Note - i.e. what is the objective of our call or why are we meeting? I hope Microsoft addresses this very soon. Reference - in this video, just after minute 5, "enter a Note to Cara...can't wait" - we need the ability to make this a required field and customize the title. Thanks!!

Hi and thank you for your video! I do have a question about a problem we have been running into. At my company, we have two rooms where clients can book time slots for themselves, and I made two separate booking pages for the two rooms. However, microsoft calendar I guess is just using one calendar for both. What ends up happening is, when a client books Room A for 3pm, the calendar will show that Room B is booked for that same time slot. It doesn't show up as available for the Room B booking, even though it is. How do I make it so that it is two independent rooms being booked in my calendar? This has been difficult to deal with, and we cannot have as many bookings as we can. I'd appreciate any tips or help with this issue. Thank you!

When I tried this feature out a while ago, I found that the link URL to my bookings page changed every time I edited meetings on the page.

That's no good if you want people to bookmark your bookings page!

Has that been fixed? Is the URL now persistent?

Can I do specific dates rather than just a day of the week M-F and time? i.e 12/29 1-3p or 1/7 2-5p?

Does the Bookings With Me page include all calendars in Outlook or just the primary one. For example, I have a personal calendar and a marketing calendar in addition to the primary.

Great Video. One question. How did you customize the sidebar in outlook to add the different apps?

Hi Mike, as a teacher, I have different office hours every day. I also get a lot of drop ins. When I send out the link with appointment times to my students, is there a way to highlight those windows of time to hold them open incase of late sign ups or drop in. My assistant sees my calendar as empty and (oops) double books me. Can I put "office hours" into my calendar but still be available to the AI behind the scenes so the link works? Wow...do you understand that question?

Will this support booking across two people’s calendars. We do product demonstrations that require the sales person and a product presenter. It would be very efficient if it would support looking at both of our calendars to provide mutually available times to the prospect.

This is nice, however, if I already have "office hours" on my Outlook calendar it can't be booked by anyone who wants to come to my office hour. Is there a solution to this?

In the calendar bookings... When you have public or private... Is anyone able to see the names of who you have an appointment with on your calendar?

Decent video, but what a crap product. No way to do a phone meeting, no way to require contact info, no way to do basic things that Calendly does. Unless you want to have to do every meeting by Teams, this is useless.
