Hey, Guys!

Six Pack Shortcuts here--Welcome to Flex Friday!

My name is Clark Shao, personal trainer, fat loss specialist, and Mike Chang's long time personal friend.

We all know Mike has a six pack, but every now and then when he needs some special advice to get extra lean, well I'm the guy he goes to.

So he invited me out here today to share a special workout with you guys, and this is something that you can anywhere. This is kind of a finishing exercise, so we do this at the end of very workout, and I'm telling you--it burns the fat off, good!

So today, what we're going to do is called the Mike 100s. And I call it the Mike 100s, well because he kind of invented it.

A lot of people come to me for advice. I like to give them this workout that we are about to do today.

Workout Breakdown:

100 Reps
- Burpees
- Mountain Climbers
- Squats
- 3 Sets of 10 X3
- +10 Additional Burpees.

You can do this anywhere. You can do this on your way to work, before you go to school, after your workout..anywhere, even on vacation.

Before we start, I want to remind you to progress pictures! This will allow you to keep up with your own fitness journey.

Now, let's get started!

On 3... 1, 2, 3

1:28 - Set One - 10 Burpees

1:48 - Set One - 10 Mountain Climbers

1:56 - Set One - 10 Squats

2:11 - Set Two - 10 Burpees

2:34 - Set Two - 10 Mountain Climbers

2:38 - Set Two - 10 Squats

Last Round!

2:55 - Set Three - 10 Burpees

3:14 - Set Three - 10 Mountain Climbers

3:24 - Set Three - 10 Squats

3:41 - Final Set! 10 Burpees

Phew, man that was a tough workout! You can do this every day. This is the fast road to a six pack. About 2 minutes! You Can do this anywhere!

Hey guys. I didn't always have the six pack abs that I do now. I used to have a pudgy belly. Girls used to pinch it and make fun of me, no joke. I used to try to run the track and do crunches, but nothing seemed to work. My belly just did not go away. Then I met Mike. Mike was looking to get fit as well, so we started working out together. We discovered a system that worked! After that, my belly fat seemed to melt away, and I uncovered the ripped six pack abs that I do today.

I do these before each workout. With a modified set of 10 custom burpees (2 push ups I knee tuck 1 push up to burpee with extra jump) at the end. Each burpee is a push up that finishes with arms above shoulders in the jump. 4x1 alternating knee tucks. Half squat into full squat then jump. That's not what I saw here mostly. I take about 10 minutes to complete it. When I first started doing them it took me about 14min. 2 min if you cheat. Pretty sure Mr Rose brought it from martial arts class and it's been an invaluable tool on restructuring my metaphysical composition in a positive manner ever since. It made me face my weaknesses earnestly and the diligence it instilled surely has turned it to strength. Never thought about making it easier to accomplish so as to be convient to do. Each time before a workout I challenge myself to this obstacle instead of exercise machines to get my heart rate going. Then add in some skipping for good measure.

Like this burnout routine! Agree that burpees need to be chest and thigh to floor and a deep air squat where the glutes are below the knees with knees over the ankle would make this even better!

These really work!  I had actually lost 20 pounds in 3 months by doing these intense exercises 15 minutes daily, five days a week during my lunch hour.  Of course, I also was more attentive to my eating habits as well.  It takes work, it is intense, the more one loses weight as in my case the healthier I was, the more toned I became, the more energetic I was and the easier it was doing these.

If you do a full bumper, that is straighten your back and do a push up gives you that little extra and also helps build on those back(spinal) muscles.
