30 Minute Pyramid Walking Workout, Low Impact, 2500 Steps

This 30 minute walking workout will improve your cardiovascular system, balance, and endurance. You will engage your entire body with six fun exercises that will rack up about 2500 steps, more or less depending on your pace.

Here’s the format. It’s a “Plus and Minus” pyramid-style workout: There are six exercises added one at a time in six rounds and then subtracted one at a time in five rounds. Round one consists of Exercise 1: Round 2 consists of Exercise 1 and Exercise 2…and so on until you reach Round 6 that includes all six exercises. Next, we subtract an exercise with each round so that the last round consists only of Exercise 6. Join us and follow along – we’ll keep moving and have fun along the way!

Here are the six exercises:

✅ Side step/arm throw
✅ Toe taps/boxing circles
✅ Side step/goal post arm
✅ 3-step/knee up
✅ Up and reach

This is one of the routines I was unable to comment on. I've done it a few times and realized I hadn't put in my 2 cents. The structure of this "pyramid" was so very imaginative and upped the challenge with each addition and provided a reward with each subtraction. I imagined the elbows move one a hero would do knocking out bad guys advancing each flank, and the goal post move deflecting those meanies. What fun! I did rest in between due to unplanned interruptions. Please create another, perhaps a bit shorter. I timed the routine, excising the opening talk and cool down: it was 32 minutes long. What a sport Mom was! Always grateful...Anastasia

Really enjoyed this one. Some of the moves took me back to high school and marching with the drill team in parades. I felt like I needed pom poms. 😁

Nice variation on the pyramid workout! It goes by super fast when you are only doing each exercise for 20 seconds. I love that "rock 'em, sock 'em robots " move with the elbow and side punch, lol! I missed Mochi, though...but I had a great time working out with you awesome ladies, as always!
