Let's get this straight. There's no food that can lower blood sugar. All food with any calories increases blood sugar. How fast food raises blood sugar is the problem.

Thank you, Thomas. Your videos are so informative and incredibly useful for me in my day to day 'battle' with type 2 diabetes. All the info in this video was great. I trust you and your research and don't know what I'd do without your videos. Again, thank you. Jez (Australia).

*Caution – Brown rice contains more arsenic than white rice.

When you cook white rice, let it cool down and then reheat the next day…. for the same reason that Thomas suggests cooling down cooked oats.

You should do a video for people who are Hypoglycemic (Low Blood-Sugar)

I am diabetic and when I eat apples my blood glucose spikes with 10-20 units! I don't understand where did you see that it is low glycemic...! Rice, oats and quinoa? Really?! Ask a diabetic for heaven's sake! I cannot even imagine eating those foods you mention!

Thank you Thomas! I just love how you break down research into valuable chunks of up-to-date information. Kudos to you for coming up with videos everyday! :) would you mind expanding on the idea that temperature influences carb breakdown? Just a random interest

Thank you very much for this video, Thomas - my dad and I are both diabetic, I am type 2 and he's on insulin; this is helpful info, and, I myself already take ACV (capsule form, maybe liquid is better?) we both take turmeric, cinnamon as well. Take care Thomas!

You can reheat carbs such as pasta, oats, potatoes, etc. after they have been completely cooled and the resistant starch doesn’t decrease. I don’t think just putting cold milk on hot oatmeal will cool it enough to develop much resistant starch

Wow, what an incredible video! Your in-depth breakdown of foods that help manage diabetes is truly enlightening. I appreciate how you explain the science behind each food choice in an easy-to-understand way. The rapid-fire format keeps it engaging and packed with valuable information. Keep up the fantastic work! 🌟

So much useful info as a newly diagnosed diabetic t2. Other than red meat and Kale (I am working on it ) all
Listed is incorporated into my diet. I have read a lot about apple cider vinegar not good with many diabetes meds but there seems to be a lot of confusion around this.

My favorite dessert is unsweetened Greek yogurt, flax seeds, and blackberries (or raspberries). Keto bars me from brown rice, lentils, quinoa, apples. and oats. Need to find a good source for fresh okra here. Never tried Kimchi so I will give it a go.

Perfect timing. I'm in the hospital right now cuz I was just diagnosed with Type 2. My A1C is 11.5%, glucose was 505. Fluctuated down to 152, now it's 304.
Thanks so much for this! 🙏 I got my work cut out for me.
