Pushups & Pushup Modifications Tutorial | Beginner & Advanced Variations, How To Do Pushups Properly

Pushups are a classic upper body exercise that you can do anywhere, while building muscle, improving your overall fitness and performance! Whether you're a beginner or at an advanced fitness level, there are different modifications that you can incorporate into your workouts.
Hands should be positioned just outside of the shoulders, and feet should be hip-width apart. Hips should be in line with the shoulders, and the lower back should have a neutral curve—not completely flat, but not overly curved either. Inhale and brace/engage your core, then bend your elbows to lower yourself towards the floor. Exhale as you push away from the floor, and repeat!
