First not to hurt anyone’s feelings but genetics is probably the number 1 factor for growing tall but some cases some kids do just have a spike in growth. However being active as a little kid helps a lot too. Even things like playing tag, climbing monkey bars contributes a lot. Eating the food foods also helps but let’s face it genetics is like the number 1 contribution.

I was 5’6 as a 6th grader and everyone thought I was gonna grow massive but I’m still that same height as an upcoming Junior😂

If you just want to grow an inch or two then you gotta have a good straight posture. A lot of people slouch more than have a straight posture. Having your spine slouch just decreases your height.

To be honest, genetics are probably the number 1 factor that affects your growth mostly. Of course it's not always based on genetics. Some children have cases where they spike in growth randomly. Being active can differentiate in your growth also, that can also be a top factor. Something that's active which will affect your growth would be something like running, working out, stretches, sports and etc. A great amount of sleep would be very effective in the process. That'll support your body to function properly. Eating healthy food, and drinking healthy liquids wouldn't stunt your growth like unhealthy products would. Just make sure you focuse on the most effective routes to become more vigorous. Make sure your mental health is top tier so your body isn't stressed, fatigued and etc. Being in a bad mental state could stunt your growth.

I was growing really fast until I did everything he said NOT to do! Eating mostly junk food, weight training(super heavy and not the best form) and drinking a lot!
