Mother Mary should be recognized, for it was not for her Jesus would never have grown they would’ve killed him when he was just an infant helpless. Do you know what it was must’ve taken to raise the child of God, in spite of what people believe Jesus was born with incredible, incredible abilities. Other people couldn’t see those abilities. It would’ve gotten them in trouble, and if they did, they would’ve had to pack up and move in the middle of the night to protect Jesus yes, she does deserve to be honored, and not to mention, she was the very first person to ever. Mary came from God Jesus body was created from her body. Jesus returned to Heaven and also did Mary. Both came from God and returned to God. W/o Mary there'd be no Jesus. As Jesus suffering was extrrnal/physical, Mary's was internal. To reject Mary is to reject *the Son." There's no need to apologize to non-believers. They cannot be appeased. Just because two things _look_ similar, it does not mean they _are_ the same.

Worshiping an idol is very different from using a statue to remind you of someone.

The recent installation of a statue of Billy Graham in the US Capitol building illustrates this point for Protestants.

Latria, hyper dulia and dulia are words in Latin that have a common meaning. You worship God above all things, to a lesser degree you worship Mary, and to a lesser degree you worship saints. The words worship, idolatry, honor and veneration are synonism in any language. So with latin words you try to make an opaque distinction that actually means the same thing. You worship Mary and Saints probably more than you worship God. The rosary ia one example. The are only two Lord's prayer againts at least 13 hail Mary in it.
