*Changed my life. I will never eat the same ever again. "Unless you physically trip and your face lands in a box **weightlose.fitness** of donuts, there is no such thing as a 'slip'." Get that mind set and you'll win again and again.*

The only doctors I trust: Dr. Eric Berg, Dr. Stan Ekberg and Dr. Jason Fung. You sirs really changed my life and I am cincerely grateful. I have been struggeling with my weight all my life since my early teens. It's a lifestile and not a diet. I have been doing IF for a couple of months so far, started doing OMAD and prolonged fasts recently. I have never felt better and I enjoy my mental clarity. Thank you Dr. Fung!

I lost 25 pounds in 10 weeks by eating fewer carbs, no between meal eating and eating all meals between 10 am to 6pm. Thanks Dr. Fung.

00:27 🥐 *Carbohydrates vary in types: refined, unrefined starchy, unrefined fibrous, and fruits. Their impact on weight loss differs significantly.*
02:58 🍩 *Refined carbohydrates like white flour, bread, pasta, cereals, and sugars cause rapid glucose spikes, insulin surges, and potential weight gain.*
04:51 🍰 *Added sugars in processed foods, high fructose corn syrup, and refined grains like white rice contribute to weight gain and insulin resistance.*
06:30 🥔 *Unrefined starchy carbohydrates like certain grains (rye, barley), root vegetables (potatoes, sweet potatoes), if consumed in moderation, offer fiber and can be better options than refined carbs.*
08:03 🍏 *Fruits contain fructose, but their fiber content makes overeating difficult. Berries are better options than sweeter fruits, which have been bred to be more sugary.*
09:52 🥦 *Non-starchy, fibrous vegetables (like leafy greens, legumes) are beneficial for weight loss due to their high fiber content, minimal impact on insulin, and ability to induce a feeling of fullness.*

My grandparents who were farmers in a southeast asian village ate white rice/glutinous rice 3 x a day. They were very lean and lived close to 100 w no chronic illnesses. There was no money for or shops selling processed food in the village. They ate alot of carbs but eveything they ate were either grown, caught or forraged by their very 2 hands.

I was 140 last winter... Did so much that I could to lose it and go down to 125... I am 5'3 and 140 really gave me that heavy feeling.. A month ago I adapted little by little everything I learned from you and dr. Berg.. I fast for 16 hrs and dropped my meal to Once a day. I walk a lot too since that's what my job requires me to do.. 2 wks of FULLY being under yo u and dr berg, I have lost 11 lbs... You have no idea how incredibly life changing your teachings are 💕

I don't think carbs are bad but excessive carbs are bad. We ate homemade pie in old days, always ate a dessert after dinner but we didn't eat all day long and fast food all the time. Fast food was a rare thing.

Avoid refined carbs .
Be cautious of unrefined (starchy) (root vegetables) (fruits).
Eat unrefined (non-starchy) (leafy greens).(above ground vegetables)

Dr. Fung should have more subscribers than other artist that has nothing important to share like this. I wish I can give him 10 million subscribers

Bless this man! He is a National Treasure and should be protected and Dr Berg! Both saints in my humble opinion. 😺💐

Dr Fung, you are an amazing person. I'm non native English and appreciate so much that you speak so clearly in a simplified language that gets to me. I love you calm voice and personality. I have almost all you books and have listened to lots of your videos. You do a great job in educating people about fasting mainly which I have been doing the last 3 years. So happy you start to teach about foods as this is very valuable info too. God bless you from the UK

What you said about today’s fruit no longer resembling the fruit that our great grandparents ate is so true, and my mom has been saying this for a long time also. It’s really sad that it is very difficult to get hold of fruit that hasn’t been modified in some way.

Thank you so much.

I've been listening to Dr. Fung on YouTube for four years. I am on a keto diet and use intermittent fasting. I exercise regularly. Just lost over 20 pounds and now am not overweight, according to my BMI and waist measurements. am trying to get my A1c back down to 5.6 from 6.1.

Just turned 73 years old.

You're a very gifted teacher. A lot of doctors use so much jargon that I can't grasp the concept. This is clear and concise, and you're humble enough to not show off with too many technicalities.
