"Normal people don't manipulate their friends."
That's a very, very bold claim.

My biological father and sister are sociopaths with diagnosed mental illness. No matter what happens, they NEVER apologize and actually enjoy hurting people. I recommend everyone read the book "Surrounded by Psychopaths" by Tomas Erikson (I realize that's a subtle, but important difference between socio and psychopaths).

To the self centered, selfish and narcissistic sociopath those around them are:
1. Assets
2. Audience
3. Unimportant collateral damage
You are best served by remaining unimportant. Those who were once asset or audience that have been depleted or no longer serve to glorify them must, in their mind, be completely destroyed.

I’ve had a friend that did most of these…the intentional tardiness was a common one. Every single time she was 15 minutes late and casually strolled in. Every single time lol She also criticized me, and I always felt horrible after hanging out. I ended the friendship and I felt better almost immediately

This is the best video I've seen on this topic. I knew a guy with literally everyone of these traits. It's confusing dealing with them initially because it's hard to believe people like this exist.

Just got out if a relationship like this. I called the girl out on all her demons and manipulation tactics, and once i did that she broke up with me. I think its because she knows that now im onto her tricks, and i could no longer be manipulated like she would like to. Relationship was only a couple months thank god not any longer.

#10 malicious grudges spoke to me. I don’t even recognize the sister I thought I knew. I always knew she was about power, but she’s so damn charming. Her 100% silence for a year ( and most likely permanent) is insane. Who won’t talk through a issue, make up - somehow?!
She’s either a sociopath or has Narcissistic PD…or both. See what the trauma that is rained down upon children in abusive homes does? We, like many others, never stood a chance at having something resembling a stable life. Thanks for this video.🌿

I thought my ex was a narcissist but now I'm figuring that he's actually a sociopath.

My wife and I have been targeted by sociopath narcissist's. As you stated, those who work in law as well as other positions of authority have a problem with such behavior. I've made the mistake of trying to defend myself and my wife to people they've gaslighted us to: Sometimes, you have no choice, if you want to be able to go anywhere in peace. We're learning how to deal with people who have such characters. Thank you for your video.

Just keep your distance if you meet a sociopath. Ignore them. 👍

Many sociopaths in the workplace! Understood that everyone is unique. If can't change yourself or the others, just keep as minimal contact as possible to these guys, you'll not be emotionally affected so easily🍀

I feel like about 90% of my previous bosses/supervisors have fallen into every one of these descriptors. Is that normal?

A manager I worked under was a full blown sociopath she ticked all the 10 traits in this video. When I commenced employment she love bombed me with all the favours and went out of her way to impress me with her contacts even after I insisted I can manage on my own but she made it out to be her generosity. I knew this was going to cost me but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Then I began seeing the cracks and the mask slipped down and the tyrannical rage would blow up over insignificant everyday things. I quickly noticed I was targeted and everything I said and anything I did that can be misconstrued and weaponised was trumped up 10 fold. I could feel the case was being compiled against me very minor things but when it was compiled meticulously dated and recorded I knew the axe is going to fall at anytime and true to this video the sociopath came down on me in a maniacal rage cursing and accusing and attacked of a personal nature. I reported the crazy bitch but she got her lies and coerced her 2CO to lie to collaborate their story and management toon her side. I was probably the 100th staff member that she has forced out of a job. More deceitful than a shithouse rat

Thank you for this video. I now understand the behaviour of certain co-workers and bosses and relatives. Essentially a sociopath is the type of person who ENJOYS and receives power from hurting people. They don't change and you can't talk to them. If you talk to them and tell them how their bad behaviour hurt you etc. they will either ridicule, dismiss or call you weak. The best thing to do is let them be, as the video says don't react when they try and provoke you and have as little to do with them as possible.
