One year my mom threw my dad a funeral wake for his birthday. She set up a poster with pictures of him through the years with words like "he will be missed" and all kinds of puns. We even had eulogies to give but if we didn't have anything to say, mom had given a jar of paper the size of fortune cookies with funny nice things to say. Dad absolutely loved it and had a blast attending his own wake.

Honestly he is a legend. The most fun thing I've ever done for my birthday was take a surprise trip to a music/beer festival with friends while being "king for a day" (I had one of those inflatable crowns). Now I kinda wanna do this as well. Could be fun, lol
