I look back on my child hood and think about how my siblings and I rarely had new clothes or fancy toys. But we always had plenty of good food to eat. my Mom was (is) a great cook and always made sure we had fruits and other snack food stuffs. I feel truly blessed to have never known real hunger in my life, and it always hurts my heart to hear of or see those without much to eat.

I also grew up in such a household. Me and my sister still show affection by sharing our homemade food and helping each other in the kitchen. I like to cook and she likes to bake, so we're always trading sweet and savory. 💕
