In indian Version it is less than 3 stars because It is Euro NCAP where it is scoring 3 with Safety assist and ADAS
Whereas It does not even have This important feature such as ADAS and safety assist

This is European Swift. Indian Swift will be 1 star max.

So safety is better than previous one!!
Previous one was selling above 1 lakh every year so this one is going to be a massive hit❤

Worse than expected. Is it really expensive to at least, AT LEAST, activate the hazzard lights in case of an impact?

To anyone that was seriously considering buying this car and is not a keyboard warrior, read the report and buy it. This report is indicative as to why EuroNcap(and all the agencies that follow their testing regime)cannot be trusted to deliver serious useful feedback about the safety potential of any vehicle. Their testing standards now focus more on ADAS and how much it restricts the driver(the more it does that the better) to the absurd such as how well the car does when its underwater. All the extra equipment that would need to be fitted to this car to get that five star rating would push it to be heavier, less fuel efficient, cost way more and the end goal of all this, less enjoyable to drive. It is no wonder that EuroNcap easily recommends cars which are either not in the same class as this or something that costs three or five times more.Anyone who was seriously looking at this car wouldnt be looking at a Kodiaq or an E Class much less an X2.The utter elitist contempt in the statement from the secretary General of EuroNcap in thier latest press release is the neon sign showing where the organization is now and who they really represent. This organization has become less in tuned with what consumers actually want in a car and instead have gleefully hitched their ideology to that of safety obsessed automatons unconcerned with actual human objective reality. With each new iteration of their testing procedures it is becoming ever more evident that this and other testing agencies really dont want people actually driving cars, but instead have a computer do it for them, at speeds of less than 30kph. Point is, if youre a serious car buyer, take Euro Ncap's recommendations with a very heavy dose of skepticism .

I can see alot of Tatajeets cribbing over only 3 stars, Tata Bhakto its Euro Standard Ncap not paid Gncap. This car also scored 4 stars in Japan Ncap. First let Tata send a car in any of these and then compare. And lot of them are talking about it's European and not Indian, only features are different for eg ADAS not chasis and structure.

Small cars still barely pass the test in 2024? Waiting for some more small cars tests.

So disappointing. I was thinking about trading up to a new Swift. Not anymore.

If they didn't keep moving the goalposts, and increasing the best score, we'd have something to compare it with.

As it is, it's TOTALLY irrelevant except for comparison with other cars tested in the very recent past.

What about the body shell integrity? Whether it is stable or unstable?

Suzuki and Duster both have some beef with euroncap, they will always receive the lowest ratings 😅

The European Swift-spec includes additional safety features such as the ADAS suite, which is not present in the version sold in India.

The fact that this car got 3 star in euro ncap while scoring 4 star in jncap is because euro ncap is more tougher than jncap and it is based on strict rules and regulations. While coming to India, it scores only 1 or 0 stars not because of rigid rules in indian crash test . Its only because Suzuki will compromise safety and built quality in India even though it has a more easier regulations. Thats why I always avoid Suzuki cars. The only thing i found here is the partiality and discrimination of Suzuki to Indians. Nowadays most of the Indians won't prefer mileage than their safety and quality.

wtf with the pole test... this is plain bad. This crap reached almost the middle of the car at low speed.
