All my life I refused to do yoga mainly because everyone advised me to do so because of my anxiety and I thought no one understood what it meant to be mentally ill, but about a year ago, going thru a horrible panic attack at 2 am I woke up looking for remedies for everything I thought was wrong with me and I came across this video, I was reluctant at first but by the end of the video I ended up crying because I had never felt at such peace with myself and my body, its been about 9 or 10 months since I first saw this video and its still my life saver, I have learned to breathe and control my anxiety, depression and I have recovered from 9 years of anorexia and bulimia and it began with such a tiny step I almost cant believe it, thank you Adriene u are an angel, hope i can repay u in my next

So I must say this, I discovered this video when it was posted 10 months ago for my high blood pressure. I was battling a deep depression as well. Little did I know that this one video turned into another video that I followed along with, which turned into me buying my first yoga mat, then turned into a 30 day yoga challenge, then turned to me going to yoga classes with friends, followed by a 30 day revolution practice, and then even another yoga mat... I'll say this, if Adriene hasn't been so diligent in her works and shared all these inspiring videos and challenges with the youtube community, I wouldn't be here 10 months later looking at institutions to learn to become a yoga instructor myself, and living the happy and peaceful like I knew I was meant to live. I do need at least a year's experience but I see myself getting there all because of the inspiration Adriene brings in her videos and for my hope to become a similar inspiration to others around me in my communities. Is amazing how 20 minutes of yoga can change the whole energy of your body and soul. This flow was great! Feeling grateful for hitting the play button even if I was feeling like I didn’t have time for this.

Blessed Beloved Beauties! It's nice to return to this practice after 11 months. Ease Day - 26 is internally refreshing. My favorite part is the foot massage. I used my lavender epsom salt cream and I didn't want to stop. Lol! 😂 Best wishes, everyone! 🦋♥️🦋

im in such a shitty and depressive mood today because our lovely dog is going to pass away in a couple of days. I am angry and yoga this time didn´t leave me with the most profound peace sensation. And yet, I am aware that in such difficult days like these, going back to basics such as sleeping, drinking water and getting your blood to flow, is what matters the most. Thanks for that, Adriene.

That was a bloody good yoga practice, pardon my language there, and the pun. 😊 I loved this yoga practice, it was just what I needed at 7am today. I love that you encourage a playful curiosity. You'll have moments of jokes and singing throughout your videos and return back to the breath and the practice. It may just he your personality but I think that shows how being mindful is, while also being open and nonjudgemental about what thoughts and behavior pops up. I loved the opening to this video, it made me laugh 😂 but thank you for it, and I hope to incorporate a playful, curious mindset in more areas of my life. I think that it will help with anxiety in the right contexts/situations. Thanks again ❤

I feel as though you are in the room with me - could you see my hunched shoulders, my shaking legs or the fact that you knew that I had stopped breathing!
