This video is all about how to work out a reverse percentage and forms part of the playlist reverse percentages.

This video is part b of the question that deals with a 4% increase and working out the original price. In this question the price of a rail ticket is £2828.80 after a 4% increase - we're asked to calculate the original price. The easiest way is to convert the percentage to a decimal and then use algebra to work through.

hey Simon I am currently studying maths at gcse c grade level. I have been on your website and downloaded some questions but I am doing AQA exam paper is there a difference from the questions u have to AQA.thanks
