Stretching your recovering arm and hand daily can help to maintain muscle length, reduce pain and stiffness, and improve function. Use this video to help create a daily arm and hand stretching routine if you have spasticity or high muscle tone after a stroke.

Had a stroke 3 1/2 years ago and in the 3 weeks I've been using your routine I definitely feel a big difference. I especially like that you go thru the stretching and do the routines . Lots better than other sites

I had largely given up on doing my exercises after I got kicked out of PT and OT. I watched your videos a few times this week, and been able to follow them. Dear eliae i had stroke 7 months ago i uses your videos to help in my recovery since i cannot afford a therapist i can use my hand again and i am walking propely eveŕyday i am using it thank u very much

Thanks. Mum said she found this very helpful. She was extremely fearful throughout the video in case it went too hard or too fast but I slowed the video down a bit and she enjoyed it, and did her best. And so it continues ❤

I had a stroke 3 weeks ago and have been declined from my insurance for service. But your exercises and stretches have really helped me. They are also welcoming and easy to follow.😊 Thank you for your service ❤

Thanks Elyse, please post more exercise to reduce spasticity in wrist, elbow, fingers. I agree that shoulder needs to be “freed” as well. This exercise helps me a lot cause i want to get rid off my hand spasticity but i dont know where to begin 😊❤️❤️❤️

After 3 years post stroke, I have the feeling I have done everything humanly possible and now need a miracle. I just don't know what else to do to heal. These videos are very helpful. Thank you for the breath of comfort.

I have been got stroke before 6 months and been suffering pain at right leg and hand and are following your exercise. Hope you will come up with more presentation on pain relief and paralysis recovery. Regards

I just had a stroke three months ago with severe spasticity, just had Botox injection last week, Dr. Says take a week before med kick in. The tone and spacitscity is still very strong now, came across your video, and I fallowed it, find it very helpful, and not too difficult to do.thank you
