Tip: I like doing the weekly planning on Friday in the last hour of work, that way I can switch off over the weekend and not have to worry about anything til Monday

Tip: take a pic of your outfit, put them all in an iphone album for easier morning decisions and a way to remind yourself that you actually do have things to wear

one thing that you wouldn’t really think of (at least me) is the amount of sad music that you listen to. it really drains your energy listening to sad music which also makes you sad. more upbeat and happy music with motivating lyrics really helped me become more happy! of course letting yourself feel sad is also a good thing but don’t let sadness take over your entire day (or life)!

20 minutes of HIIT when I get up, followed by 20 min of journaling, 20 min learning something. All before everyone else gets up really jumpstarts my day

My tiny habit is to not go on my phone for at least 30 minutes after waking up… I incorporated this around 4 months ago and I have found that my day in general is a lot more productive and I get way less distracted!
Instead I will do boring things like make my bed, tidy up things etc. I read that doing this reduces the immediate dopamine hit when you wake up and this is why you are less distracted throughout the day 🙂

Removing the notification from almost everything and not using the phone when I wake up but waiting couple of hours to start answering messages and instead doing my morning routine has been a life changer for me. Everyone should do it, today is a good day to start if you read this message :)

My latest micro habit is to drink a full litre of water first thing in the morning while my coffee is brewing. Starting my day off hydrated feels really good and improves my energy drastically.

I started double washing my hair several months ago and the difference is astounding. I have a ton of hair, super thick, kind of coarse, and my scalp is so much happier and my styles last longer.

One tip for the hampers, leave a stain removing spray or gel next to the hamper so you can treat it before tossing it in the hamper

a double hamper is so helpful!!! I divide my items into "hots" and "colds" rather than lights and darks though. I've also begun implementing "microwalks" into my routine by getting off the train a stop early and walking the extra blocks to work. It's especially nice now that the weather is cooling down. Love the advice on habits regarding phones. I definitely need to start leaving it in my bag as opposed to it being glued to my hand all day.
