I was born in ‘90. I still remember how far my $1 would go during middle school- high school. McDo’s “dollar” menu was EXTENSIVE, and genuinely $1/item. It was incredible.

fun fact, there is a hotel in Germany built in the 1500s that hasn't gone through any inflation so you can stay there for 96 us cents per year edit, I didn't do any research I just saw it on a magnify short and the rules are that you have to be catholic, do 3 prayers a day and the gates close at 10 pm
