I found a new car dealer who wholesales their trades. Not cleaned, needed a few small things (brakes, etc.). Looked like a great deal for an F150.I found the tradein slip in the truck, they only added $1500 to the price they gave him! Still driving it 2 years later.

Hate to give you the bad news but I've done that. Here's what I've learned. Dealers are piling on the fees. The advertised price isnt even close to the out the door price. Add-ons, hidden down payment charges, crazy high tag/title fees will bury you once your in their store. I've been trying to find a late model truck since before covid. Fact is i should have made purchase in 2019 because prices are up 30 % since covid for vehicles...other than KIA.
