My 2004 CRV has 245K miles. It needed a new transmission back in 2021.
The car belonged to my late wife. I just can't get rid of it. Too many wonderful memories of my wife. She loved it. I don't drive my E class. I only drive my wife's CRV. Driving my wife's car gives me so much joy. God, how I miss her.

early 2000s hondas might still be on the road when the sun finally expands and consumes the earth.

So correct !!! These Hondas are amazing. Our 2010 Civic just got sold with 147K. problems. Everything is original. They just do not die

Still driving a ‘93 prelude with over 210, 000 miles. Those older Hondas really last

Just purchased a 2003 CRV for my daughter off of my neighbor for $1, 000! Has evaporative codes, but can be fixed! And it only has 124, 000 miles on it. Engine still sounds and runs fantastic.

Over here in the UK, Car Manufacturers used to put the size of the engine on the Back. Now they try and hide it and just talk about Power output. This is because people would understand just how small these modern engines are and how overworked they are.

270, 000 miles on my 2001 Honda CRV EX with the 5 speed manual gearbox. Going strong 💪 Radiator replacement three weeks ago and a new clutch master cylinder are the biggest repairs I’ve ever had to make. Keep up on valve lash and oil changes!

2006 Honda CRV AWD the last of the Japanese built. 2.4 I-vitec, 5 speed auto. This vehicle is a dream to drive, park...oh and I take it off road too. It's solid, reliable. They just don't make like they used too. Basic maintenance.

YES Scotty! CVT's and turbos do not equate with a long lasting car! We have had NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS with some of our family cars with CVT's/turbos! But our old VW with the 24v VR6 and old Mazda Miata just keep on going, even after 20 years and hundreds of thousands of miles! Most of the new cars today are a lot more complicated, and just plain SUCK when it comes to longevity. Most, not all.

I made sure to get the 2.4L naturally aspirated engine in my 2016 Honda CRV. The 2.4 is bulletproof, i dont know why Honda still insists on pushing it's 1.5L turbo.

I have a 2012 Honda Accord Coupe with that engine. Best car I've ever owned.

My first car was a 2005 crv silver exl when I was 19 bought it with 50 000 km I sold it 5 years later with 410 000. Best car I’ve ever owned, no repairs just regular maintenance stuff and annual rust proofing. Lots of great memories going up north, to this day I still miss that car even when I now have 2 brand new suvs

My car is a manual Honda crv 1999, it’s older than me and was my uncles first car. I adore this car so much, it’s still going strong 300, 000 km later
