Dumb is the STAR answer, same as the question. I've been in this situation and such answer from management would just reaffirm that no one cares about me and that we are only good as long as we're bringing money to the company. What I would actually do is to listen long and carefully about the details and then see from there which side to take or who to speak with next, maybe to both. Asking people to give each other one more chance when the relationship is already broken is hard and complicated but it's better than acting that you only care about company's project.

That's not so "brilliant" answer if you manage your team members without authority over them. You can not threaten them sending away because they are not reporting to you. It would be nice if you come up with examples how to deal with conflict in the environment where one is just a servant leader, like Scrum Master.

So the tip is to lie?

There's no way two people who are senior in their position and have a conflict will get along just because they're given the same project. A) That's children stuff. B) that was exactly what they were already doing, otherwise they wouldn't have been on the same team and got into a fight.
