Kinda related to points 7 and 9: Drink water instead of sugary beverages like soda, juice, lemonade, Gatorade, etc. They taste delightful but they’re nothing but empty calories. Cutting sugary drinks is the most effective way to lose weight.

Y’all it took me a year to lose 25lbs. Quick weight loss is not the best weight loss! Even if you don’t see results right away, stick with it and trust the system! Good luck everyone!

Maya! Thank you for making the world of weight loss so much less DAUNTING. I feel like a lot of content producers make fitness seem like something you can only do if you have 2 hours a day to hit the gym and meal prep. Your content is always so cheerful and I appreciate your wonderful energy :)

When you make ur own food 🥘 you’re in control of what goes in ur food! We don’t usually put sugar in our food but frozen food has SO much sugar and salt !

Oh my gosh!! What a great video. I loved all the points and they helped me out as well. I was recently considering trying the keto/Atkins diet but when you said “food is food, and is it going to fuel my body or hurt my gut and break me out” such a great point and helps me much. Thank you maya!!
