The biggest thing by far for sleep is:
1. Block all light and noise
2. Sleep in cool temperature
3. Don't eat 4-5 hours before bed
I sleep on average 6 hours and always feel fresh in the morning 🤓

After decades with a snoring husband, who would snore like a jack hammer through his CPAP, he finally got cured. Wears a custom device in his mouth, along with the CPAP. The difference in how I feel is incredible. We had to find this on out on our own, sleep doctor would just shrug when we told him "still snoring". CPAP was working in keeping his oxygen levels steady, but not for my sleep.

This shows up right when I'm suffering with insomnia...currently only sleeping 3 hours per night if I'm lucky.... Insomnia takes everything from you, trust me. Wouldn't wish it on anyone

This is the closest dietary discussion I’ve been able to find relating to sleep deprivation. After years of asking for help from doctors after eating well, exercising and being unable to lose weight and even gaining weight, I was finally diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. If you would consider doing another discussion to elaborate on helpful things for women with sleep apnea, that would be much appreciated. I know I could really use the advice to finally get my body back. Thanks again for this!

I am not the perfect case for this but I started my weight loss journey with sleep . The good sleep gave me time and energy to cook my breakfast and this adjustment led to a20 lb weight loss for me . I dropped 200 lbs b4 I fell off the path .

going on keto really made a world of a difference in my sleep, it made my sleep apnea go away and I'm not waking up every hour all night and been falling asleep much faster.

BUT, HOW DO I IMPROVE MY SLEEP? Yuo told us what happens and that tracking glucose can confirm that your sleep is not good, but nothing on how to improve sleep! I have watched the video on foods that can decrease sleep quality and I try to follow it. But, again, nothing on how to improve sleep. [I am type II diabetic on insulin (check glucose 3 times a day) and sleep ≈5-6 hours a night.]

I’m 18 and just had brain surgery in December. I just started sleeping pills, hopefully this advice helps.

My problem is that when I do really strict keto my sleep gets worse. Going back to a bit more carbs usually does the trick. 😴 The other end of it is that I, apart from being tired, feel so much better on keto. 🤔 What to do?

4-6 hours deep sleep 2 hours dream state sleep, Yum, Yum. 8 hours sleep total. Get ass out of bed and exercise. A body in motion stays in motion.

As a person with a serious sleep disorder I already know I'm sleep deprived and how it effects my health. I watched this video because you said do "THIS" to improve sleep, but your only advice was to monitor your glucose. How does monitoring your glucose help improve your sleep?

But on low carb low calorie i sleep really bad and cant good fall asleep.
When i eat carbs before bedtime i can fall asleep really fast and strong sleep.
