🛑 STOP doing knee push-ups
- especially if you can’t yet do a floor push-up. Your form is likely improper and won’t allow you to progress to full floor push-ups. The issue is that knee push-ups make it very difficult to perform a full push-up in a straight line, while the variations shown here do. In short, if floor push-ups are too hard, knee push-ups are going to be too hard as well if performed properly.
- follow this progression instead: wall ➡️ counter ➡️ step ➡️ floor.

Best starter push up advice I have EVER heard. I thought something was wrong with me that I couldnt ease my way into floor pushups. I spent much time doing knee push ups! At times I just got frustrated, stopped, and proclaimed "I HATE Pushups!"

I actually prefer knee push-ups. They seem to isolate the chest and upper body way more than standard full body, which relies quite a bit on shoulder, back, abs and legs.
I honestly don't feel like I get any benefits from standard, but I feel sore after doing three sets of knee push-ups.

Yes I do them on my knees, this is good to know, however my wrists hurt if I do too many reps
