If you want to build leg muscles effectively, these circuit style "home leg workouts" are not going to get the job done. Of course any leg exercise is better than none, but a 15 minute low intensity quad workout like this is not going to do much of anything as far as building muscle is concerned. It's basically just a cardio workout. If you really want to build bigger legs then you need a properly structured muscle building workout using proper leg exercises for mass (such as squats, leg presses, lunges, leg curls, romanian deadlifts etc.) where you're training close to muscular failure and applying progressive overload over time.

You might not get huge, but you’ll definitely gain muscle, especially anything explosive

If you are stuck with just bodyweight exercises or beginning calisthenics, squats and lunges are good for a start. However, you will have to move on to advanced exercises like pistol squats, single-leg hip thrusts to add on more muscle size. Also, proper reps, sets, and rest periods have to be programmed, dancing will not do.

This guy is so one dimentsional, some people have literally got jacked with high rep calisthenics, sure a 15 minute workout is useless but don't talk like heavy weights is the only way to train

I disagree, I actually got a fair bit of muscles specially on my thighs and calves. For sure weight training will definately help me if I wanna put on more muscle but this definately works too

To be clear, if you just want to perform a quick circuit like this to stay active and burn a few calories then that's totally fine. I'm talking about this from a muscle building perspective, which is what the title of the original video implies it's for. ("Tired Of Chicken Legs?")

Just add weight to a schoolbag and do front squats, you can do actually EFFECTIVE exercises at home if you are creative enough

Slightly disagree. As a newbie to working out, exercises like this can help you build some lean leg muscle but after you're body is use to it, you'll have to find different ways to progressively overload the muscles. Whether that be adding more weight, or trying harder calisthenics variation s, just find new ways to challenge yourself.

I feel like it definitely depends on the person. I gain muscle really quickly in my legs, and by doing workouts similar (not exactly) his defined my legs quite a lot.

I literally did these exercises. Dropped 10 pounds. Legs are stronger than ever with visible muscles. Not every has to be weight training. You can use your own body as weight hence why I believe calisthenics is one of the best workouts out there. Sure if you want to up the challenge you can add weights, but excersizes like these DO WORK
