It's the COC mostly. Had a big debate with a few of them. Traditions and religion has blinded so many. Putting there faith in fleshly works. Keep up the good work

Sir, I agree with what you say. However, what about the born again verse?

Sir, why do you insist on ignoring the scripture, and replacing the commandments of God with the traditions of men?
The Bible does not ever say that baptism is a "public profession of our faith"; and the word "baptized" does NOT mean "to be placed in". It means to be submerged under water, and to come up out of the water different. It is actually a Greek word (baptizo) that refers to the dying of a garment in a dye solution, that causes it to come out completely different than when it went in.
But that doesn't really matter, because we speak English, not Greek.
The Holy Bible (KJV) tells us exactly what baptism is for, in plain English, repeatedly.

The Bible says that baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is for the remission of sins, and that it saves us.
It is how our sins are washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ.

"And now, why tarriest thou? Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling upon the name of the Lord."

Mark 16:16, John 3:5, Acts 2:38-40, 22;16, Titus 3:5, 1 Peter 3:21, etc...

By arguing against God's word, and assaying to be a teacher while setting forth lies that will deceive people away from the gospel of Jesus Christ, you are bringing damnation upon your own self, and upon as many as will hear you and believe the lies that you tell.

Repent therefore from this wickedness, stop trying to be a teacher when God Almighty hath not sent you to teach anybody, and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ, and live.

Sincerely in Jesus' name,
Clinton

thanks. people are confusing me with this you need to be water baptized to be saved, etc. not that i'm against water baptism, but it seems flawed to say that it saves you when the whole act in itself requires another man/woman to do it to you. then i think to myself, i'm pretty sure jesus is the only way to god. in otherwords, it seems like they're actually placing SOME of their faith in man.. in a sense? it's like saying you need another person to help save you, at least thats what came to my mind. i mean not sure if i'm thinking of it correctly, but yeah.
