There are basically two gospels; One being the true gospel. And the other, is found in every man centered *false gospel.*

The true gospel, is Jesus Christ and him crucified, "the death, burial and resurrection" of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
All sufficiency is in the finished work of Jesus Christ alone.

Every false gospel, is easy to discern. It places man (or man's self-righteous works) in the center of it.
It gives "lip service" to Christ, but really exalts man, and his efforts.

You will see this in all the Cults; Roman Catholicism, Jehova Witnesses, Mormonism, Seventh Day Adventist, Church of Christ, and the Hebrew Roots movement, just to name a few.

Jesus was our perfect example, in mark 16:16 he said if you believe and are baptized you will be saved BUT if you believe not you will be damned period!!

Salvation is a *spiritual* work performed by God through the *baptism* of the Holy Spirit. Water baptism is a physical representative of that work which has already been performed by God.

Colossians 1:20-22 (KJV)
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

How did Jesus (God) make peace?
"Through the blood of His cross"

How did He reconcile all things unto Himself?
"In the body of His flesh through death"

Christ died on the cross in order to buy back what was lost in the Garden of Eden. The price was His life, the currency was His blood. The manner in which He saves believers is through His "body of flesh".

We become one with Him through a spiritual work of the Holy Spirit. To those who received Him as Savior by faith, He has "made us meet (qualified us) to be partakers of the inheritance ***in light***."

But he that is joined unto the Lord is ***one spirit***.

1 Corinthians 15:45
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [Jesus] was made a quickening spirit.

Jason, what bible version were you reading from in this video? I've checked several versions but not finding 'the like figure' in 1 Peter 2:18-21 as you read it and use to make your point.

Jesus himself was baptized by John before starting his ministry.
Jesus himself was baptized.

But you say "none of you" have to be baptized.

Even Satan believes. Is Satan saved?
Read the book of Acts. The salvation process always included baptism.
Nowhere in the entire bible did someone ask Jesus to come into their heart to be saved.
Acts 2:38 says "every" one of you repent and be baptized for the remission of sins and you shall recieve the gift of the Holy Spirit .
Try getting into heaven without repentance and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
Not going to happen.

If Water Baptism was essential for salvation, the criminal on the cross would have gone to hell and Jesus would have lied
