But add, you cannot be save by baptism alone. You must have the faith of belief.
Mark 16:16 “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
John 3:5 “Jesus answered, 'I tell you the truth, unless a man is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

I might not agree with everything you said, but one thing I admire about you, is the way you teach and discipline your kids to follow the faith is amazing, that is even more blessings with graces comes from above. I just wish we have more dads like you in the Catholic faith.

I've actually been wondering about this. I always felt the fact that Jesus himself asked to be baptized was a clear sign of it's importance.

God's Word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our own efforts or works (Ephesians 2:8-9). Grace Alone. Faith Alone. Grace alone means that God loves, forgives, and saves us not because of who we are or what we do, but because of the work of Christ. Also to repent and be baptised. 1 Peter 4:17-18
[17]For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
[18]And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

The thief on the Cross was not Baptized.
Yet he was saved.

When God's Word clearly says something, to not believe it is to be rejecting God's Word.

Baptism is a sacrament. Sacraments were instituted by Christ Himself. Along with Holy Euchatist, Matrimony, ...etc.

Baptism erases original sin. Baptizing in the name of the Father, of the Son and the Holy Ghost. Amen.

what about the Thief on the Cross he wasn’t Baptized

Water baptism, Does NOT save you. The thief on the cross was not water baptized and YET was saved. There is no better example of how this position is wrong. The verse that was referenced was speaking specifically about baptism of the spirit.

@Dr Taylor Marshall
I would submit this point of view. Regarding baptism. Now I heard you say that the only valid way to be baptized is by name of the Father and Son and Holy Spirit. There is one place the Bible refers to baptism that way and yet it is never carried out that way. There is a singular use of the word name and not names. We know John ch 5 gives Jesus as the name of God. Matt 1 gives us Jesus as the name of Jesus. John 14 Jesus gives us the name of the H.S. in His name. There is but one name. John 1 says in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. 1:14 That word became flesh. On the day of Pentecost When asked what to do. Peter said Repent be baptized in Jesus name and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Peter had the chance to repeat Matt 28:19 and did not. Here is why, I believe. Luke 24:44- Jesus explains that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name. If you re read those verses you will see they actually also encompass Matt 28:19-20 Acts 1 and 2. And acts 2:38-39 dovetails perfectly with John 3:3, 5. Water and Spirit. Acts 2:38 water and Spirit. No where in the Bible was anyone ever baptized using titles of Father Son Holy Spirit. But everyone was baptized in the name of Jesus. If we are to let the bible and Jesus be our teacher. The word and not tradition. Furthermore it was the Catholic Church that officially changed the mode of baptism

2 questions 1. The thief on the cross wasn't water baptized and what if you are in the desert with no water, Jesus's blood is not enough? #2) you say to baptize in the name of the father and the son and of the holy spirit. After Jesus died was the new covenant and they baptized in just the name of Jesus?

Baptism "does also" save us. It's part of salvation.

I’ve always wondered if the unforgivable sin of blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is to not be baptized.

I always assumed the reason it doesn’t have to be holy water or even a baptized Catholic is in case of an emergency and especially during the end times or in countries where Catholicism is illegal—resources such as holy water and baptized Catholics may be limited. Yet, Jesus Christ has no boundaries in His saving grace.

Thankfully in my heart I don’t believe I’ll live to see the end times. I do believe we all will see our own end times and death can come like a thief in the night.

I need to repent for my sins and be a better Roman Catholic.

Hello Mr. Marshall I don't understand why do not peer with Dr. Andrea Cionci and expose to the English audience his findings?
Don't you know the Bible verse You will be my witnesses to the ends of the world (Acts 1:8)?
The audience you have is given to you by Christ, not for you but for Him.
Take action, please.
